These pages are devoted to the History of Science, in particular the History of the Exact Sciences. By this term I mean especially the History of Mathematics, Physics, and Astronomy, as well as other disciplines that influenced these, such as Natural Philosophy, Cartography, Astrology, etc. The main objective of these pages is to provide a reasonably complete set of working tools. Nothing of what is presented here can or pretends to substitute the study of primary sources and secondary materials. However, the advent of the Internet has made possible the access to information on a truly remarkable scale, and this is an advantage that historians of science cannot ignore.

These pages were originally produced in Portuguese. An English version is currently under progress, but still far from being completed.
